Iowa State had an eventful Monday on the recruiting trail, landing two in-state commits before most families eat dinner in Jamison Patton and Kooper Ebel.

However, the program also appeared in the top four of three-star safety prospect Jalyn Stanford’s top choices.

Stanford comes out of Jenks, Oklahoma and is rated as the No. 9 player in the state by 247Sports.

Also appearing in his top four was Houston, Missouri and Washington State.

Iowa State currently has 10 players committed to the 2023 recruiting class – ranked 18th nationally – and would improve with a commitment from Stanford.
