Iowa State signee Eli King and his team didn’t make it to the state championship game, but that didn’t stop him from showing out in his final game as a high school basketball player.

King helped lead his Caledonia high school squad to a dominant 74-58 win the state’s third-place game, scoring 33 points and 17 rebounds in the process.

The team finished the year with a 29-2 record and King put a cap on it with a dunk that’s making its way around the internet, especially in Iowa State circles.

King is one of three signees set to join the Cyclones in the 2022 recruiting class along with Ames’ Tamin Lipsey and fellow Minnesota native Demarion Watson out of Totino-Grace.

Watson’s team will battle for a state championship at 5:00 p.m. CT on Saturday night at the Minnesota Gophers’ Williams Arena.
