One day before the early National Signing Day in college football, Iowa State has added to its 2022 recruiting class once again.

The Cyclones landed a commitment from three-star defensive lineman Domonique Orange on Tuesday, giving the Cyclones 20 commitments for the 2022 recruiting cycle.

Orange announced his pledge during a ceremony at his school Tuesday morning.

The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder out of North Kansas City High School also held offers from Texas A&M, Oregon, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Texas, Iowa and numerous others.

Orange is considered the No. 477 player in the class, No. 67 defensive lineman and No. 10 player in Missouri by the 247Composite. He officially visited Ames the first weekend in December.

Iowa State will look to sign him and the remaining 2022 class at the start of the early signing period on Wednesday. The Cyclones’ 2022 recruiting class currently ranks as the No. 27 group of commits nationally and No. 4 class in the Big 12.
