Iowa State point guard Monte Morris is on the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 list which was released on Wednesday. Morris is one of four Big 12 players on the list and the only one from the state of Iowa.

The Flint, Mich. native is averaging 14.9 points, 5.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game so far during his senior season. The points and rebounding numbers are both career highs.

He’s doing that while seeing his minutes decrease from 38 per game last season to 32.4 in 2016-17.

The other Big 12 players on the list are Kansas’ Frank Mason III and Josh Jackson and Baylor’s Johnathan Motley. Iowa’s senior guard Peter Jok was left off the list.

Iowa State will take on Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Wednesday at 8 p.m. on ESPNU.
