A significant development to senior offensive lineman Jaypee Philbert’s status occurred during Matt Campbell’s press conference on Monday morning. jaypee

He is suspended indefinitely and currently isn’t with the team.

Philbert, a 6-foot-5, 315-pound tackle, has missed Iowa State’s last two games for violating team rules. He was replaced at left tackle by senior Nick Fett, who has consistently been praised by Campbell for excelling at multiple positions on the line. Fett, originally a guard, has seen relief from former walk-on Brian Seda.
