A lot of questions have been answered over the last couple of weeks regarding future Iowa State football schedules. Today, Iowa State’s slate through the year 2017 was finalized.

“We had to make several adjustments to our future non-conference football schedules to accommodate the new nine-game Big 12 schedule beginning next fall,” Iowa State’s athletic director Jamie Pollard said in a release. “Fortunately the changes in our schedule are not resulting in any financial penalty to Iowa State University.  We really appreciate the tremendous cooperation that we received from several institutions around the country to help us adjust our schedule accordingly.”

Non-conference games against Iowa, Northern Iowa, UCONN, Tulsa, Western Illinois, Toledo, North Dakota State, and San Jose State are all on future schedules that are listed below.

2012 – Tulsa (Aug. 30), at Iowa (Sept. 8), Western Illinois (Sept. 15)

2013 – Northern Iowa (Aug. 31), Iowa (Sept. 14), at Tulsa (Sept. 21)

2014 – North Dakota State (Aug. 28), at Iowa (Sept. 13), Toledo (Sept. 20)

2015 – Northern Iowa (Sept. 5), Iowa (Sept. 12), at Toledo (Sept. 19)

2016 – Northern Iowa (Sept. 3), at Iowa (Sept. 10), San Jose State (Sept. 24)

2017 – Northern Iowa (Sept. 2), Iowa (Sept. 9), at San Jose State (Sept. 16)
