The secondary figures to be the strong point of the Iowa State defense in 2016, and the group might have gotten a little better on Monday.

Minnesota Vikings rookie, and former Clemson star, Mackensie Alexander tweeted (shown above) that his brother, JUCO safety, and former Auburn Tiger, Mackenro Alexander, will continue his football career at Iowa State. Alex Halsted of AllCyclones.com confirmed the tweet.

Alexander, a former three-star prospect from Immokalee, Florida, signed with the Tigers in 2013. He recorded four tackles in eight games as a true freshman, but did not play in 2014.

He will arrive before the fall and be eligible to play this season.
