With March approaching, the Iowa State women’s basketball team (15-10, 9-6) is fighting for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament in March.

The Cyclones are coming off a 76-64 road win at the Houston Cougars on Wednesday night.

As the regular season winds down, coach Bill Fennelly and his team are looking to secure as many wins as they can to firmly put themselves in the NCAA Tournament field.

Iowa State closes out the season with home games against BYU and Cincinnati and a road game at Kansas State.

ESPN’s women’s bracketologist Charlie Creme has the Cyclones as one of the
four teams in the Last Four Byes category.

Crème projects Iowa State as a No. 11 seed playing against No. 6 Creighton in Los Angeles.

On the bottom side of the bracket, the host team No. 3 UCLA, would play No. 14 Grand Canyon in the Round of 64.

Iowa State returns to action Saturday night to take on BYU inside Hilton Coliseum (6:00 p.m., ESPN+).
