Iowa State men’s basketball has moved to No. 6 in the latest Associated Press Poll of the season, following a 2-0 week with wins over Cincinnati and Texas Tech.

The ranking ties the program’s best mark since it appeared in the February 19 poll at No. 6 in 2001.

Iowa State goes on the road with its new No. 6 ranking right off the bat to face No. 2 Houston Monday night at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
