Dominic Overby had only one offer – from Southern Utah – going into his senior season at West Jordan High School.

After the season ended, both Iowa State and Washington State extended offers to Overby, who officially committed on Sunday following a visit to Ames.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound wide receiver took visits to both programs over the last two weeks. Overby becomes the second wideout commit for the program’s 2024 recruiting class, joining Texas prospect Brett Eskildsen.

Overby had 1,140 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 67 receptions according to MaxPreps for West Jordan during the 2024 season.
