Iowa State earned its latest commitment to the 2024 recruiting class on Tuesday in Kansas City safety prospect Marcus Neal.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back held offers to Kansas State and UNI, along with Iowa State, but had not visited campus since January according to his social media accounts.

Neal announced his commitment on Thursday, becoming the 17th player verbally committed player to the class.

He comes in as the No. 20 prospect in Missouri and commits to the program following a visit to Saturday’s game against Oklahoma State.

Neal is rated as a top 5 recruit in the class, according to 247 Sports.
