Jirehl Brock — Iowa State’s leading rusher last season — has voluntarily left the program, an ISU athletics spokesperson confirmed Monday to Cyclone Fanatic.

The Des Moines Register‘s Randy Peterson first reported the news on social media.

Brock was charged as part of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation’s ongoing inquiry into sports gambling. He rushed for 445 yards and three touchdowns during an injury-plagued 2022 season.
