Iowa State men’s basketball will face off with VCU on Thanksgiving night as part of the ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando.

The official bracket was announced Tuesday, confirming the date of the holiday MTE (Mid-season tournament/event).

Boise State and Virginia Tech sit on the other side of the pod as the Cyclones and the team will face either one of these teams on Black Friday.

On the other side of the bracket, Texas A&M will begin their tournament against Penn State, while Florida Atlantic faces Butler. One of those four teams will face the Cyclones to round out the weekend on Sunday, November 26.

Specific tip times and TV selections will be announced at a later date, but Iowa State will be playing each of the three games on either ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN+.
