Former Cyclone Monte Morris is heading back to his home state.

The Flint, Michigan native was traded late Friday night from the Washington Wizards to the Detroit Pistons for a second round pick.

Morris averaged 10.3 points and 5.3 assists per game in the past season while shooting 48 percent from the field.

He will enter his seventh year as a NBA player and begin the final year of his current contract this fall with the Pistons.
