Iowa State picked up its second commitment to the 2024 recruiting class of the week on Monday when Dyeon Batiste announced he had made his choice.

“Iowa state is special and there’s no place like it,” Batiste said. “It’s a family in Ames, Iowa and I want to be apart of it.”

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound quarterback/ATH announced he intends to play at Iowa State over his social media channels.

Batiste joins Arizona running back Dylan Lee as players to make their choices official following a major visit weekend for Iowa State.

The visit this weekend was everything I could dream of from an OV stand point, I loved everything about it,” Batiste said. “The conversations were amazing and they were very welcoming I loved it like crazy.”

The Cypress Park prospect picked Iowa State over Army, Stetson and Texas State.

Batiste is rated as the No. 159 prospect out of the state by the 247 Sports composite scale.
