The next two weekends are setting up to be major visit-focused weekends for Iowa State football, with a slew of targets in the 2024 class set to be on campus.

Nearly the entire group of 2024 commits will be on campus Saturday. Here’s a look at who’s coming:

2024 commits
QB Connor Moberly
TE Keaton Roskop
DL Jace Gilbert
LB Mason Miller
LB Cael Brezina
ATH/LB Danny Inglis
S Quentin Taylor Jr.

Targets
2024 RB Xavier Robinson –
Holds offers to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Colorado, Notre Dame, Houston and Kansas among others. He is taking official visits to both Oklahoma schools after this weekend and was teammates last year with current Cyclone Tashawn James. Would be key piece in the room down the road.

2024 WR Reece Vander Zee – Iowa State and Iowa are battling over the Central Lyon High School prospect, rated as the No. 8 in-state recruit in the class by 247 Sports. Both programs offered him in April and he has June visits set for each.

2024 WR Witt Edwards – Another big target for the weekend comes in Edwards, who has other visits set for Vanderbilt and Houston after this weekend. The wideout is rated as the No. 2 prospect in the state of Oklahoma.

2024 EDGE Ryan Jenkins – Jenkins may have more scholarship offers by number of schools than any of the other recruits in this write-up, but Iowa State hasn’t offered yet, officially. Expect him to gain an offer this weekend as one of his four scheduled visits (others are Coastal Carolina, Boston College and Indiana).

2024 CB’s James Chenault and Ezaiah Shine – I spoke with a source about each of these prospects this week. Iowa State’s excited about both of these prospects, each coming from Florida to spend the weekend in Ames.
