One of the top prospects in the 2023 recruiting class flipped his commitment from Iowa to Iowa State Tuesday.

Cody Chittum, the No. 1 rated prospect by FloWrestling, will be headed to Ames this fall in a move that was first reported by StaleMates.

This isn’t the first time Chittum has flipped his commitment, either. He was originally committed to Minnesota in 2021 and flipped to Iowa in June of last year.

Now, the highly touted prospect known for his physicality is headed to Iowa State.
