Iowa State men’s basketball was again in the received votes category for Monday’s edition of the AP Poll.

The Cyclones received 23 votes in the poll after beating Baylor on the road in Waco.

Although the polls mean less as the year goes on, the Cyclones have an opportunity this weekend in Kansas City as the Big 12 tournament gets going.

No. 5 seeded Iowa State faces No. 4 Baylor on Thursday in the tournament, with tipoff slated for 11:30 a.m.
