Iowa State men’s basketball climbed to No. 11 in the latest AP Poll when the rankings came out on Monday, moving up two spots since the previous release.

The Cyclones are one of five Big 12 programs ranked inside the top 14 in the poll and one of six programs from the conference to appear in the top 17.

Texas is the highest ranked program in the conference at No. 5, while Kansas slots in at No. 9 following the loss. Kansas State is one spot back from the Cyclones at No. 12 and Baylor continues to ascend at No. 14.

TCU was ranked No. 17 and Iowa State’s opponent for Wednesday in West Virginia received five votes.
