T.J. Tampa is staying in Ames for a fourth season of college football.

The standout defensive back announced over social media that he would not be putting his name into the 2023 NFL Draft.

Tampa finished the 2022 season corralling 29 tackles and an interception during Iowa State’s game against Oklahoma State in Stillwater.

During his career as a Cyclone, Tampa has totaled 65 tackles and was a part of Iowa State’s 2020 Fiesta Bowl winning team.
