Boise State’s Reid Kagy is reportedly set to take over as Iowa State’s newest Strength & Conditioning coach, according to a report from Bronco Nation News’ B.J. Rains.

Kagy has been Boise State’s Director of Sports Performance for the past two seasons and coached on the Oregon team that Iowa State defeated in the 2021 Fiesta Bowl.

Iowa State has been searching for a replacement for Dave Andrews since December 2. The program and Andrews parted ways after three seasons in Ames.

It’s expected that Kagy will still be with the Boise State program through the completion of the Frisco Bowl, which kicks off on Saturday, December 17 at 8:15 p.m. CT on ESPN.
