Iowa State coach Matt Campbell gave an update to his team’s injuries in his weekly press conference on Tuesday.

Colby Reeder will play in Saturday’s game against West Virginia, according to Campbell.

The linebacker was hurt in Iowa State’s game against Kansas State and missed the last pair of games.

Malik Verdon will also miss the remaining four regular season games as well as a bowl game, if Iowa State qualifies.

The defensive back underwent season-ending surgery for an undisclosed injury this week. The surgery allows him to be available for winter workouts as well as the spring season when it comes around as well.

Campbell mentioned Jirehl Brock and Cartevious Norton having been banged up this year, but both are expected to be on the field Saturday in what their current form is.
