Iowa State coach Matt Campbell took the podium at his weekly press conference on Tuesday and gave his weekly injury report.

In most reports, Campbell might say something like pointing them out as day-to-day, but Tuesday he didn’t get as specific with his regarding running backs Jirehl Brock and Cartevious Norton.

“I think we will know a lot more as soon as we get on the practice field today and tomorrow,” Campbell said during the press conference. “We would certainly love to have any of those guys available for us.”

The phrase of ‘any of those guys,’ could also refer to right tackle Jake Remsburg, who sat out each of the first three games and warmed up for the Baylor game without playing.

Remsburg took 13 snaps during Iowa State’s loss to Kansas on Saturday, but Campbell didn’t comment more specifically with status expectations for this weekend.

“I think those guys are closer than further away, but until we can get through today and tomorrow’s practice, it would be hard to give you an exact answer on that,” Campbell said.

Iowa State and Kansas State will kick off at Jack Trice Stadium at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will be nationally broadcasted by ESPNU.
