Iowa State soccer coach Matt Fannon was named in a report by the Des Moines Register which accused him of mistreating the student athletes he’d coached in Ames and before he arrived when he was coaching Bowling Green.

The report mentions that 17 players have either transferred or quit since Fannon took the reigns and also names select players accusing him of the alleged mistreatment.

On Monday, a group of other former players released a statement in defense of the coach.
