Iowa State running back Cartevious Norton and offensive tackle Jake Remsburg will both be healthy for their team’s Big 12 opener against No. 17 Baylor on Saturday.

Head coach Matt Campbell confirmed the news as his weekly press conference ahead of the game, with a shot at a 4-0 start to the season on the line.

“My expectation is that both of those guys will be available,” Campbell said. (Remsburg) dressed out – we almost had him ready to rock and roll (against Ohio). We just didn’t have him ready to go, same with (Norton).”

Remsburg had been injured during fall camp and missed the first three games of the season, while Norton suffered an injury during his Iowa State debut against SEMO.

Wide receivers Dimitri Stanley and Darren Wilson Jr. sat out of last week’s game against Ohio, along with defensive back Beau Freyler.

Campbell says that Stanely and Freyler will also be back and available this Saturday.

Stanley had been sick and Freyler’s ‘DNP’ had been injury related.

Wilson Jr. on the other hand will be considered ‘OUT’ for the game.

Iowa State and No. 17 Baylor will kick off from Jack Trice Stadium at 11:00 a.m. CT on Saturday. The game will be televised by ESPN2.
