The 2023 Iowa State football recruiting class got bigger on Monday, with another in-state target committing to continue his career in Ames.

Jamison Patton, a three-star ATH out of Des Moines, announced over social media Monday that he would be a Cyclone next year.

Patton, who played through his junior season at Des Moines Roosevelt, has transferred to Ankeny High School to play his senior season.

The school is already lead by Iowa State quarterback commit JJ Kohl.

As a 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect, Patton chose Iowa State over Iowa, UCLA, Kansas State, Nebraska, Georgia Tech, Washington among others.

Patton and Kohl will open up their high school seasons up on the road against Waukee on August 26.
