For the second-straight weekend this spring, Iowa State football will welcome a number of recruiting targets on visits over the next two days.

Each player visiting this weekend belongs to the 2023 class, which earned two commitments after the last wave of visits. The players in town can be seen below:

Three-star running back Nate White is one of the higher prospects set to be in Ames. Rated as the No. 1 prospect out of Wisconsin, the 6-foot, 175-pound recruit visits Iowa State while holding offers from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Northern Illinois.

The Cyclones will welcome in a multitude of defensive back recruits over Friday and Saturday including a pair of cornerbacks.

Cole Shivers, a three-star corner out of Arizona, and Illinois target John Nestor will each be on campus this weekend. Shivers holds offers from Wisconsin and Florida State among others while Nestor is being looked at by both Iowa schools and a handful of others.

Nestor will visit Iowa on Friday and Iowa State on Saturday.

A three-star, 6-foot-1 ATH prospect out of Ohio in Ben Minich will be in town as well as 5-foot-11 ATH Jalyn Stanford. Each hold multiple power conference offers and Minich has a pair from Harvard and Yale.

The Cyclones will also host a pair of offensive linemen, including the No. 7 rated prospect out of Kansas in Joe Otting, a 6-foot-4, 265-pound IOL. The three-star prospect has offers from Iowa State, both Kansas schools, Missouri and Nebraska.

Three-star offensive tackle Dom Rivera will visit as well, bring a 6-foot-7, 310-pound frame with him from Ohio. Rivera holds multiple offers from MAC schools as well as Iowa State’s.

Defensive lineman Samuel Same, a three-star target from Kansas, rounds out the list of prospects scheduled to be at Iowa State. The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder brings offers from Kansas, Houston, Illinois, SMU, Minnesota and South Dakota.

Another Iowa State target in three-star ATH Jamison Patton tweeted that he would be visiting the school Friday. Patton holds offers from Iowa, Kansas State, UCLA, Washington, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota.

The team will host an open practice at Ames High School on Friday beginning at 5:00 p.m. CT.
