Ahead of its matchup with Baylor on Monday evening, Iowa State is up to No. 8 in the Associated Press Poll.

Baylor came in at No. 5, which sets up a top 10 and nationally televised matchup set for 6:00 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum (ESPN2).

Iowa State is one of four Big 12 teams included in the poll joining Baylor, No. 9 Texas and No. 19 Oklahoma.

Non-conference opponents LSU and Iowa came in at No. 6 and No. 12, respectively.
