Three former members of the Iowa State football program were picked to continue their careers in the sport this week.

Jaquan Bailey, Kamilo Tongamoa, and La’Michael Pettway were all selected in the draft, which was completed over the last two days.

Bailey and Pettway actually landed on the same teams, joining the Michigan Panthers in the selection process.

The draft was covered by position groups, with quarterbacks completing the first round, running backs in another, etc. The number of round each was selected in is basically obsolete.

Tongamoa was picked to play for the New Orleans Breakers:

The league will take eight teams into its 2022 season which is slated to begin on April 16. The full schedule has not yet been released.
