Iowa State’s defense just got an unexpected boost for the 2022 season.
Veteran starting cornerback, Anthony Johnson, announced on Twitter that he will take advantage of a fifth year to come back and “lead” the Cyclones.
Johnson has started 44 games in his Cyclone career, compiling 180 tackles along the way. The 6-foot, 200-pound cornerback should be one of the top defensive players in the Big 12 next season.
