Iowa State junior running back Breece Hall breaks the tackle of TCU safety Nook Bradford en route to the end zone for a touchdown in the second quarter on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.

Iowa State appears as though it should be at full strength on Dec. 29 at the Cheez-It Bowl in Orlando.

That statement can officially be made after the Cyclone Football Twitter account tweeted out a photo of star tailback Breece Hall practicing with the team on Thursday.

The tweet comes after several weeks of speculation that Hall could choose to opt-out of the game and declare for the 2022 NFL Draft. The junior from Wichita is considered by many to be the No. 1 running back in this draft class.

Earlier this week, Hall, who finished the regular season with 1,472 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns, became the second two-time consensus All-American in Iowa State football history. He also finished 10th in Heisman Trophy voting after a sixth-place finish in 2020.

Obviously, there are still two weeks left until the game against Clemson kicks off from Central Florida and anything can change, but Thursday’s tweet should ease some fans’ fears they’d never watch No. 28 run in an Iowa State uniform again.
