The Associated Press Women’s Basketball Top 25 poll was released a day late for the second time ever, due to a 1 vs. 2 showdown on Monday, but the Cyclones found out their new mark on Tuesday nonetheless.

Iowa State will head to Estero, Florida this weekend for the Gulf Coast Showcase as the No. 13 ranked team in the country whilst carrying a 4-0 record.

The tournament features eight schools in a Maui-invitational type bracket event that will deliver the Cyclones three games in three days stretching from Friday to Sunday.

The other ranked team participating in the tournament is No. 19 UCLA, who rose one spot in the rankings this week much like Iowa State.

The Cyclones will open the tournament against Charlotte on Friday at 4:00 p.m. CT and each game can be seen live on FloSports. The subscription price for the service is $150 a year and includes every sport that the company broadcasts.
