Iowa State got a surprise commitment late on Sunday night when Ben Langston announced he would be playing for the Cyclones on his next stop in his career.
The safety will come to Ames out of Blinn College – a junior college in Brenham, Texas.
Langston stands 6-foot-2, 190 pounds and earned 52 tackles in nine games for the Buccaneers last season.
The Texas native also corralled four interceptions and earned honorable mention honors on the all-conference team.
