RECRUITING: Kansas City wide receiver commits to Iowa State over Nebraska

The Iowa State football program landed another of its top targets on Sunday when three-star Kansas City wide receiver Jaylin Noel tweeted his commitment to the Cyclones.

Matt Campbell’s program landed Noel’s commitment over his other finalist, Nebraska, but he also held offers from Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Wisconsin and a handful of other FBS programs. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Park Hill High School product is considered the No. 136 wide receiver in the country and the No. 18 prospect in the state of Missouri by 247Composite.

This is Iowa State’s 14th commitment for its 2021 recruiting class, which currently ranks as the No. 29 class in the country and No. 3 class in the Big 12. Noel is the third wide receiver to join the class and the second player from the Kansas City metro, joining defensive tackle Howard Brown.

Stay tuned to Cyclone Fanatic for more on this story.
