The 2021 Iowa State football class is growing rapidly for Matt Campbell and company.

The fifth-year head coach earned a seventh commitment in three weeks, and the second of the day, on Friday afternoon, when in-state tight end Tyler Moore chose the Cyclones.

Moore is a three-star tight end out of Johnston High School and recorded 307 yards with four touchdowns on 20 receptions last season.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and 237 pounds, the to-be high school senior looks to add more size to a stacked tight end room.

Moore was offered by Iowa State on Tuesday and chose Ames over offers from Northern Iowa, Toledo, Northern Illinois, and UCF, among others.

Iowa State’s 2021 class now sits at 12 commitments and is currently rated in the top-25 nationally by 247Composite.
