Talen Horton-Tucker is officially a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
The former Cyclone inked a two-year deal on Saturday with the team that drafted him No. 46 overall in last month’s NBA Draft. The terms of the deal are unknown at this point, but with the Lakers over the salary cap the most they could offer was $898,310 in year one of the contract and $1,517,981 in year two.
The Chicago native, who is repped by Klutch Sports, the same agency as Laker stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, averaged 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in his one season as a Cyclone.
Horton-Tucker has been unable to participate in Summer League activities with the franchise due to a stress reaction in his foot that was discovered at the NBA Combine.
