Iowa State landed a commitment from Florida wide receiver Aidan Bitter on Thursday. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound pass catcher announced his decision on his Twitter account.
Bitter, who visited Iowa State last weekend, chose the Cyclones over offers from Air Force, Cornell, South Dakota and Troy. He has not received a rating from any of the recruiting services at this point.
This is Iowa State’s ninth commitment for the 2020 recruiting cycle. Bitter is the first player from the state of Florida to join the class. He is also the first wide receiver to join the group.
Currently, Iowa State’s recruiting class is considered the No. 54 class in the country and No. 9 class in the Big 12.
