KANSAS CITY — Marial Shayok, welcome to Iowa State lore.

The senior star knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers from the same corner late in the second half pushing the Cyclones to a 63-59 win over Big 12 regular season co-champion Kansas State. Iowa State advances to Saturday’s Big 12 Tournament championship game at 5:00 p.m. in the Sprint Center.

Shayok finished with a game-high 21 points on 5-of-12 shooting. Nick Weiler-Babb was the only other Cyclone in double-figures with 12 points. Michael Jacobson was also huge with eight points and 16 rebounds.
