Sam Colbray upsets No. 8 Drew Foster of UNI.
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The Cyclones walked into a sold out crowd at West Gym against the UNI Panthers and fell short. Iowa State went down 22-13.
Four Cyclones were able to find success against their opponents – those being Austin Gomez (125), Chase Straw (157), Sam Colbray (184) and Willie Miklus (197).
In those wins, Colbray upset No. 8 Drew Foster 8-5. The 184 pounder was able to rack up two takedowns in the third period to secure the lead.
The Cyclones have a quick turnaround time as they take on Missouri at home on Sunday at 5 p.m.
