WRESTLING: Ian Parker unanimously chosen as Big 12 Wrestler of the Week

Redshirt sophomore Ian Parker has been named the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week after a successful weekend with a pair of wins over ranked opponents.

Parker started the weekend with a 4-3 win over OU’s No. 10 Dom Demas that was won in an explosive sudden victory.

On Sunday in Stillwater, the 141-pounder continued his winning streak and defeated OSU’s No. 12 Kaid Brock in a 6-3 decision. Kevin Dresser has done nothing but praise Parker as one of the toughest guys in the room with an endless fuel tank.

Parker currently is 19-3 overall and is undefeated in dual action.
