Saturday’s Iowa State football game looked like it was going to be just another kick in the stones that Cyclone fans seem to experience just about every year.
Iowa State was on the verge of its 11th straight loss to Kansas State, going down 38-21 with 12 and a half minutes left on the game clock.
Fans had started heading to the exits.

Even fans that weren’t at the game wanted to start heading towards the exits.

Understandably so, Iowa State fans were filled with frustration.
This hurts but game set match. 11th straight loss to KSU. The defense has completely fallen of the map. The offense is trying to score double digit points on each play, which leads to mistakes. The crowd didn't show up to the game. Frustrated Cyclone fan sitting at home.

Even West Virginia fans were dismayed.
One suggested a move to the American Athletic Conference.
If losing to 6-4 Iowa State by 16 points, and losing to 6-5 oSu after leading 34-17 is the best we can do, maybe we should move to the AAC.
By the way, I wouldn't count a bowl win just yet. Grier likely won't play. Sills and Jennings may not, either.

It still seemed like Iowa State needed too much help to turn things around and win this game, and then Mike Rose had a fumble fall right into his hands.
The ball had bounced from Skylar Thompson’s grasp, as he was hit from behind, and landed right into the hands of Rose – who returned it for the score.
One fan was so overjoyed, that he offered Rose his children.

Iowa State went on to win this one 42-38 in an unbelievable 17-point fourth quarter comeback.
The 80 points scored in the game were the most in the entire 102-meeting series, solidifying its spot as one of the best Farmageddon games of all time.
