Chris Williams – Iowa State 24, Kansas State 16

For the first time in a long time, I don’t think there is any doubt that Iowa State is the better team heading into this one. I do have some concerns about the Cyclones though. For one, the defense seems to be a bit worn down at this point in the season. Still, K-State isn’t exactly dynamic on offense so I expect Jon Heacock to have a nice plan installed. Offensively, Brock Purdy really struggled in Texas, which shouldn’t have been a total shock. I do believe that K-State saw a decent plan of attack by the Longhorns and will bring a LOT of pressure defensively.

Jared Stansbury – Iowa State 28, Kansas State 24

I feel confident in Iowa State winning this game, but it certainly will not be easy. It never is against the Wildcats. I see the Cyclones leading most of the game. It will not be comfortable until the clock hits zeros though.

Brent Blum – Iowa State 20, Kansas State 17

In K-State’s notes that they send out each week, they have a section called “Drawing First Blood” can only assume that is a nod to the legendary CF nickname. Amazingly though, Snyder has nearly a 95 percent winning percentage when leading at the half. Cyclones better not mess with a slow start again this week. This is a low possession game.

Rob Gray – Iowa State 28, Kansas State 13

Better team will win, but it could be a grinder. Probably should be, given how both programs want to play offensively. ISU simply out-executes K-State and stamps out that interminable 10-year skid against Snyder’s bunch.

Jeff Woody – Kansas State 27, Iowa State 25

Kirk Haaland – Iowa State 27, Kansas State 13

I’ve been looking forward to this opportunity to finally beat Kansas State for most of this season, mostly because of their struggles and the thought of blowing them out was pretty appealing.

Kevin Fitzpatrick – Iowa State 23, Kansas State 20

Everything about this game, at least as it pertains to this season so far, points to an Iowa State win. Everything about this series, pertaining to the past 10 years especially, points to Kansas State pulling a win out of their butts. I’ll be very surprised if it’s more than a one-score victory no matter who prevails, but I can’t pick against the power of the almighty black uniforms. Roll Clones.
