Iowa State has extended a scholarship offer and is actively recruiting four-star guard PJ Fuller, a source confirmed to Cyclone Fanatic publisher Chris Williams on Wednesday.
Fuller is rated as the No. 53 player in the 2019 class and the No. 6 shooting guard in the country. The 6-foot-4, 170-pound Seattle native holds offers from 23 schools, including Arizona, Arizona State, Florida State, TCU, Texas Tech, Florida and Oregon.
Fuller averaged 17.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.2 steals per game last season for Garfield High School. He has been one of the summer’s fastest risers, earning eight offers in just the last several days.
Iowa State’s 2019 class is expected to be perimeter heavy and Fuller certainly fits that mold. The Cyclones have three (or four depending on Lindell Wigginton’s future) scholarships to use for the 2019 recruiting cycle.
