Three-star Jefferson City, Mo. defensive end Corey Suttle has announced his commitment to Iowa State. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound prospect announced his decision on Twitter on Monday.
Suttle is rated as the No. 70 defensive end in the 2019 class and No. 973 player overall, according to 247Composite. He chose the Cyclones over offers from Wyoming, Northern Iowa, Indiana State, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Missouri State.
Suttle is Iowa State’s ninth commitment in its 2019 class that is currently rated as the No. 30 class in the country. He is the second defensive end in the class, joining South Dakota prospect Blake Peterson.
