The Cyclone Regional Training Center kicked off training last Tuesday.
Practices involve giving high school wrestlers the opportunity to train with practices led by the C-RTC’s head coach, Mike Zadick, Iowa State wrestling associate head coach and among current Iowa State wrestlers.
On the C-RTC website you can find their mission statement:
“The Cyclone Regional Training Center is affiliated with USA Wrestling and was founded to support athletes who train in the international styles of wrestling. The center uses the wrestling room at Iowa State University and serves elite-level postgraduate resident athletes, as well as younger wrestlers from high school through college. The center provides a place for athletes to train together and be coached by world-class competitors, including those on our staff who were members of the U.S. Olympic and World Teams.”
