After recently completing an amazing high school career, future Cyclone Ashley Joens was handed the most prestigious honor in the state of Iowa on Tuesday.
Joens, who averaged 30.7 points and 11.1 rebounds per game for Iowa City High, who finished the 2017-18 season 25-1 while finishing as the runner-up in the 5A state tournament.
Joens committed to Iowa State last November over offers from at least a dozen Division I programs.
