Brian Peavy‘s Iowa State story is not over yet.
The star cornerback has announced his intentions to return to school for his senior season after putting in his name for evaluation by NFL scouts last month.
The 5-foot-9, 190-pound Houston native was named second-team All-Big 12 this past season after recording 88 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 11 passes defended, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble. He is regarded as one of the top draft-eligible cornerbacks and one of the best cover corners in the college game.
Peavy enters his senior season with 232 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 35 passes defended in his Iowa State career. He figures to team up with D’Andre Payne to form one of the best cornerback duos in not only the Big 12 but all of college football.
