Naz Mitrou-Long‘s strong play in the G League hasn’t gone unnoticed — and soon he reportedly will be offered a great opportunity.

Late Friday afternoon, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports  Tweeted that the former Iowa State star guard is expected to be signed to a two-way NBA contract by the Utah Jazz, per anonymous sources.

The Jazz, as of 5:20 p.m. Friday, had not yet confirmed the deal, though they Tweeted at 5:15 that guard Nate Wolters had been waived.

Mitrou-Long is averaging 15 points per game with the G League’s Salt Lake City Stars. He’s played in 20 games, starting 15.
