WRESTLING: Dresser receives verbal commit

Grant Stotts, a senior at Valley High School in West Des Moines, declared late Saturday night on his Twitter feed that he has verbally committed to the Iowa State wrestling program.

Stotts is a 3-time finalist and has one state championship under his belt.

According to FloWrestling, Stotts is No. 14 at the high school level at 145-pounds. In June, FloWrestling ranked Stotts in it’s top 10 uncommitted seniors in the state of Iowa as No. 5.

Grant Stotts will join his older brother, Austin Stotts (157, who transferred to Iowa State from Simpson.
