Grant Stotts, a senior at Valley High School in West Des Moines, declared late Saturday night on his Twitter feed that he has verbally committed to the Iowa State wrestling program.
Stotts is a 3-time finalist and has one state championship under his belt.
According to FloWrestling, Stotts is No. 14 at the high school level at 145-pounds. In June, FloWrestling ranked Stotts in it’s top 10 uncommitted seniors in the state of Iowa as No. 5.
