Iowa State’s bye week is in full swing and the staff is taking advantage of the down time to do some recruiting evaluation. The Cyclones extended an offer to 2019 safety Marcus Fuqua Tuesday night, according to the three-star Michigan prospect’s Twitter account.
Fuqua is rated as the No. 438 prospect in the country and No. 29 safety by 247. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back is the No. 14 prospect in Michigan and also holds offers from Syracuse, Temple, Toledo, Army, Buffalo, Akron and a few other FBS programs.
Fuqua took an unofficial visit to Michigan State for the first weekend of the season and projects as a rising player in the 2019 class. He is the fifth safety in the 2019 recruiting class to earn an offer from the Cyclones.
